Outline of EU or EEA Family Permit
EU or EEA Family Permit is a visa category that is applied for those whose close or extended member of the family is an EU or EEA national.

1.REQUIREMENTS

Provided that you are from the outside of the UK and your close or extended family member is in the UK, you might be able to apply to EU or EEA Family Permit Visa. There are different criteria that you must meet, and these criteria differ depending on your situation.

2.Eligibility

The applicants must qualify as a close or extended member of a family of an EEA or Switzerland national. There are other categories you might qualify for too. Here are some of them in the application for EU or EEA Family Permit in you qualify as one the following:

A primary carer of a child who is living in the UK and who is financially independent
A child of a worker who formerly worked in EEA and you are studying in the UK or you are the primary carer of the child
A primary carer of a dependent person or a British national child or a primary carer of a child who can fall into one of the categories given above.
